I wonder why they had to change the standard icons though. I don't like them now. |

In earlier versions the download manager seemed a little buggy, but after upgrading to 0.9.1 (German) it works usually good. I'm on ISDN only, but the rates are usually very constant and never got a broken download; even not in earlier versions ... except slight bugs like a temporary vanished bar with the items like "sort" - "remove finished downloads" etc. |

Copying the bookmarks file always works since they've always used a html file for it, piss easy. I got it to work when upgrading from 0.8 to 0.9. I don't have 0.9.1, I don't know what fixes it has, it was released very quickly but I haven't had any problems with 0.9 ...
I haven't had problems with downloads either, on the countrary, I've experienced downloadspeeds on around 100kb/s (my max is 60kb/s) ofcourse, it goes down but only after a pretty long while |

0.9.1 is the next version.
Though it doesn't seem like you have to uninstall the old first, so it's not as cumborsome. |

Let me guess 0.9.1 is not an update so I have to reinstall Firefox, isn't it!? |

Do you have 0.9.1? It fixes a lot of problems 0.9 had.
Plus... it's probably just slow servers. I've got downloads at 400 Kbps [at SourceForge.net; UMN server] a lot... |

It's probably this... or I switch back to 0.8 until 1.0 is out. |

Try reinstalling FF0.9 and then attempt to download something using the download manager. |

So, you are downloading FF 0.9, and it makes your other downloads slow down? What is the big deal about just waiting for Firefox to be complete then resuming your other downloads? |

The thing is, it never happened when I had 0.8. |

It's probably just excess traffic, and if you have a slow connection each download will try to be maintained at a steady rate. |

I'm sure if it happens to anyone else but Firefox's (0.9) Download manager seems to slow down the speed of my downloads by half (I usually downloaded at a rate of 15 kb/sec) at the beggining of a download and then it slowly get slower. Anyone got any clues on what is happening? |
