you know how to connect a headphone to a CD player right? there is a little plug you have to plug in. well, the first thing you would need is to have a cable with that type of plug at each end.
so, you would plug one end to the output of your sound card and the other plug into the line in (mic) slot of the same sound card. |

Can you go a little more in depth on that last bit of advice? About recording via the line in the comp? |

if it is DVD audio, then there are DVD audio rippers out there.
if it is DVD video, then open the video in video editing software and just save only the audio
if you don't have video software or can't find an audio ripper. Play the DVD in a player and connect the headphone jack of the DVD player to the line in (or mic) port of a computer and record that way. |

Is there any possible way to rip audio from a DVD to your harddrive and ultimately to a CD? I got Moby's 18: B-Sides + DVD and I want to get his bonus songs and outtakes on a CD. Can I do that?? |
