Thank you Cellar Dweller. I am already familiar with HTML but only the general stuff, so that site will come in handy.

This may be helpful, but you may need to read it carefully:

can you provide examples of what you would like to do from someone's layout?

By the way, please use the word "table" instead of a "frame" because the HTML tag you would use is table, not frame.

As for certain colors, you should find a website that gives you a description of what properties a table can have. However, I find the HTML Reference Library is a good help file that can give you information about all properties of a table and all the other HTML tags. However, it is hard to find on the internet so I'm not sure if I can find it for you.

So what I am seeing is normal? Thats good. Thank you for that explaination. I am also wondering if you can use images for frames, like in some people's textbox's on their post layouts in this board? How about having certain styles in your frames (other than the basic table attributes), or certian color?

hmm...i see where you are getting at...

you are supposed to be missing some part of the borders around a table cell. by default, if you set the border of a table to be more than 0, then all four sides of the cell will have a border. however, using those special settings, you can only have one part of the cell have a visible border.

as for frames, they are using the same work for two different things. I think that is where you are confused. You are accustomed to HTML frame in which can be seen here: http://www.geocities.com/neotransotaku/ and you see a table frame, which is nothing more than a border.

Sure. I took 3 screenshots and cut out the tables in sets of three and organized it into one document. This way you won't have 3 big files downloading.

I am simply looking for verification on how they are supposed to look. This could be normal, but if you see differently, please explain what is different or even take a screen yourself.

What do the frames look like? They look like very basic tables to me. I am just verifying that my browser is not out of date because I have problems like this in the future.
