Umm... Let's try the obvious. Did you make the level a layer 2 layer? It's in the change properties in level header dialogue box (gee, my speling iz wundervul). |

I tried playing with one of the Layer 2 smash commands... it wouldn't work, unless I had set both H- and V-scrolling to None
Of course, Using Layer 2 Scroll - Range 05 worked fine...
I have no clue what's going on though... that sprite's just wierd, it seems |

You also need to make sure that Layer 2 isn't a Background. Yhou need to make it a Level-like Layer (so it works almost the same way that Layer 1 does) To do this, go to "Level Header" (the Mario Face Icon in the Tool Bar), and in the list at the very top of the newly opened window, change the number to 02 (most levels start on 00) BTW: Only use this when you need to, because Layer 2 will be useing FG Map 16 Tiles (Pages 0-F), instead of BG Map 16 tiles (Pages 10-1F), which will make you run out of 16x16 Tiles a lot faster (unless you don't make much ExGfx, then I wouldn't worry about it as much). |
