Hmm...So by that logic you, yourself, could choose to be gay, and from that point on you'll be attracted to other men.
I've heard that's how the gay works. |

Homosexuality can either be a choice, or a trait. It all really depends, and there's no sure way of telling unless you ask the person.
Supernova: We get it, you're islamic, that's nice. However, if you bring up that irrelevant fact again, I'll be taking action. You've only stated blind beliefs, and nothing that would make yours seem morally better than Scientology. Get with the program, this is a debate forum, not a bragging forum.
geeo: I see what you did there. It's not really comparable to homosexuality, although I do see your point. However, it's less credible to me as a religeon (although I'm not religeous myself). If there were a Christianity/Jewish/Islamic fundraiser, I'd be more willing to donate to that than to Scientology. |

It doesn't even matter whether homosexuality is a choice or not; they still deserve human rights and the like. |

Those are all choices, right? |

Ok, why would anyone CHOOSE a sexuality that they know would make them viewed in a negative light (at least in America)? Why would people leave families that they have already started once they found out their true sexuality? People that have everything going for them... suddenly CHOOSE to be homosexual?

I don't really see what the big deal is with Scientology. If people want to follow it, I say go right ahead. I mean it may be a cult but as far I know, they have yet to commit any mass sucides, so they're still ahead of alot of other cults. Sure its a bit out there, and the leaders might be taking advanage of the members, but really the same can be said for the LDS and Roman Catholic church. |

You don't get to say that, as you started this retarded thread in the first place. Sucking up when you're clearly beaten doesn't exactly help your case. |

see now.... if I had said something similar to that.... say "Scientology: almost as absurd as homosexuality", I would have been attacked like crazy...
but that's okay! I do know that life isn't fair |

I can understand your point. We don't generally get people as intelligent as the original poster, and you thought the whole thread was like that. Just don't skim the pages next time.
Now, on topic: Scientology; The Religeon More Unbelieveable Than Christianity. |

Ah, I missed that post, I started skimming after it devolved to "I have a point", "What is your point?", "Randon senseless words", "That didn't make any sense", "Yeah, that didn't make any sense", "Yeah, that really didn't make any sense" etc, etc.... |
