WOW! This hack packs a punch, and I like it that way. You took your time making these levels & it shows quality. Good work on the whole hack Schwa. |

Look what else I've made!
BD Power Rush Soulution Pack A
This Zip file contains the solutions for levels 1-1 through 3-4 in SM0-4 format. They are movies that can be played on an NESten emulator. If you're stuck on a level, make a savestate, load the movie, and after it's finished playing, reload your savestate and try beating the level with the new strategy you've learned. You will have to rename the files (but not the extenstions) to the same name as your Rom. |

I'll try as soon as i finish downloading "The Legend of Zelda Dark Prophecy Official Trailer". (damn, bitcomet is sucking so much BW ). Your hack's pretty good, specially the great differences between the worlds |

I must have missed alot since the last time I was here. Anyway, this is a nice looking hack. I'm going to play it right now. |

To Sonicandtails: Actually you can choose your color. Yeah, the levels are kinda tough... I'm thinking of using the emulator to create Movie files of the solutions. Of course, those would only be playbackable on certain emulators.
To Hyperhacker: OUCH! What was wrong with the Midi? Did I break a rule? It wasn't in the FAQ!
To drjayphd: Yeah, it was BD Greed. And yes, the palettes are fine on my Rom.
To dan: Your editor kicks @$$. Awesome stuff. Thank you. |

There was a Boulder Dash hack posted on Zophar's Domain messageboard a while back. I forget who posted it though.
Nice hack though. I always thought the Mario graphics could be well suited to Boulder Dash. |

Fun fact: I'm guessing the other hack was Boulder Dash: Greed, right? Y'all know who did it, too.
I forget what the bugs were that I saw when doing it, but it involved tweaking palettes. Yours look fine, yes? |

I've already got that bug written in the Readme, but not specifically. It says that the Exit and Magic Walls don't change graphics until you walk off the screen and back. Thanks for pointing that out, though.
Sure, you can have a pizza trophy. Google Image Search it. I actually found one. No kidding. |

I'll give it a shot. Boulder Dash aint that hard, but Im quite afraid of this because of your Sonic 1 hack that is obliviously hard...Anyway it looks good! I will beat this! As long as I get a trophy Maybe a Pizza-Trophy...
EDIT: Well...Maybe this is a bug...But in 1-1 I noticed when I beat it that the exit appeared in the top part, and when I go to it I dont win...Then, I tried walking off the screen, and the exit appeared below! Maybe you should add that to the "Bugs" section... |

| Hi guys! I've finally finished my 4th Rom Hack, Boulder Dash: Power Rush! Looking on Google, I have found only 1 Boulder Dash hack in existance, and this addition will bring that up to 2. But there are a few things you should know about this hack... It is VERY hard comapred to the origonal Boulder Dash. Since I'm a Boulder Dash fan, it was possible for me to beat my own levels, but it was still hard. I fear not everyone will be able to beat the game... I'm just warning you.
Aside from that, it's an awesome hack-- and my 1st Graphics Hack ever. All the levels are brand new, and so are all the graphics (not ALL of them, the universal ones are the same) and colors. In fact, the 6 Worlds are completely different Worlds now! (Move the cursor over each screenie to see the name of the World.)
Here's the link: BD Power Rush v1.0
Thanks to: Dan (for making Quarry), First Star Entertainment (for making Boulder Dash), Nintendo (for making NES), anyone who can beat this hack all the way through.
P.S. You need a US version of Boulder Dash for the IPS to work.
Hey, everybody! Dance to the Boulder Dash World 1 theme, will ya? Woo-HOO!
[edit by BMF] Sorry, but embedded MIDI = no. | | | | | |
