The only show I've seen like that is Extreme Makeover: House Edition. They don't actually build it. Some people are chosen for a house makeover and they try to build it up in about a week. They completely knock over the original and build on top of it. I don't really want to watch it. It'll just get me jealous  . Plus I'm tired of reality shows. I haven't watched the show but the commercials just about say what it's about.  |

Ah, i despise these reality shows. Decorating houses, makeovers, building stuff. Its stupid!! Ive seen some of the Hot House, and Peter pisses me off. I like that american gay guy XD He's got a cool accent *swoons over american accent* lol, even though he's gay! Its still cool.

There were two semi-similar shows here... House Rules and House Wars. They didn't have to build it, but they had to decorate the houses they were given (I forget which was which, but the one hosted by Mark Walberg featured dissimilar houses, while the other one had identical ones). One of 'em was on USA, the other on TBS.
There's another show on now where they have to build a house, but I think it may be single people. Might be couples, I dunno. And I think George Wendt hosts.  |

We have something similar, only it's called "Building the Dream".
Housing prices are so insane nowadays, it's the only way new buyers can actually get a house! |

This is an Aussie reality show
Basically we have 13 couples fight to win a dream home thats worth 2 million... the catch is they have to build it, voting and nomination is also in the show like big brother.
I am also wondering if other countries have this reality show, or if it's just an aussie thing?
