I don't really like layouts built that way. I mean, it's fine that you at least have a background. But the table part with your post is a bit too small (in my opinion), and makes it even worse that you're using a scrollbar. It isn't too bad though... |

You could just copy the code from my post and change the images. |

I already blocked this at one point, apparently. :\ *looks* Yeah, it's BIG. That's why, I'm sure. Nobody wants to scroll down that to get to your actual post. What HH showed is a good idea, if you can make it readable. If it's going to take you a while, you can remove it temporarilyto prevent more people blocking.. when you fix it, post ithere. |

A bit? I'm on 1280x1024 and it's HUGE! If you must use that image, I would suggest you darken it significantly and use CSS to make it a non-repeating background, with a very small repeating pattern to fill up space. Like this:
Put some text here. Watch it stretch! Cheese toast is great! Let's see how the text looks against the various elements of the background. Let's see how the text looks against the various elements of the background. Let's see how the text looks against the various elements of the background. Let's see how the text looks against the various elements of the background. Let's see how the text looks against the various elements of the background. Let's see how the text looks against the various elements of the background. Let's see how the text looks against the various elements of the background. Let's see how the text looks against the various elements of the background. Let's see how the text looks against the various elements of the background. Of course, you'd need a better background image for this area, and should darken the catgirl image (at least the actual character, given that she's wearing bright white) so the text is readable. (Also notice how the repeating image forms a border at the top/left/bottom. ) |

Uh...it probably wouldn't take more than 30 minutes to an hour at the worst. The resize of an image would go down like that...and I doubt there'd be much changing involved in making it a stretch layout with the way it's set up now. |

I like it, but that'd be cool if you could shrink the image's height a bit. |

Unless you're using a resolution like 2048x1536, that pic is a bit big. You'd be better off shrinking the image by about half and extending the textbox DIV a bit. You would be better off taking that scrollbar out anyways and replacing it was a stretch cell anyways (TD, anyone?). |

Here are the main reasons why I have your layout blocked. That image is HUGE. I do not want to have to scroll down a bunch every time you make a post just to read what you have to say, Scrollbar? You don't need a scrollbar. It's stupid. Not only that, but you don't have to write very much to force the reader to use your scrollbar. I guess you're trying to make up for having your post too tall already. I don't care for that font color either. |
