I never used QBASIC, but it does come up here and there.

This gives me an idea for a project.

Do not attempt to make a BIG project in qbasic. You will get badly burned by file corruption resulting from the MS-DOS 640k limit.

At one point, I was pretty into the whole QBasic thing. The best resource I've found to date is www.qbnz.com, even though it's not updated nearly often enough. If you want to cut right to the chase, point your browser to: http://qbnz.com/pages/downloads/software/index.html

Every version of QB from 1.1 to 7.1, all available for download.

You could just find a copy of QBASIC Extended, a much better version of QB that enables support for libraries and other kickarse junk.

get me on AIM and I'll send you a copy of it, it included a somewhat-built-in compiler that I've never had problems with

Thanks, Parasyte.

Now I need to get screenshots up sometime... but that can wait until I actually have a bit more done.

Does anyone know of a decent QBasic converter? I've recently been picking QB up again... and I'm really not too fond of forcing people to search for a copy of QBasic just to run the program. :\
