451.   Dragonsbrethren Where to start...? I started ROM hacking back in late 2000, early 2001, and caught on quickly. I already had experience with hex due to the fact that I had been using GameSharks before then for about two years (Infact I have a "hack" of GoldenEye on one, it changes nearly every object in the game to something else) so editing hex and using hex to edit text was something I already knew. Soon after learning of ROM hacking I released Protoman: The Red Bomber, a crappy graphic hack that changed Mega Man in MM1 to Proto Man. Soon after I joined the X-hackers, and released a crappy sequal. I planned on changing levels but never got around to it... After the X-hackers "died" I decided it was time to move on, I learned everything I could, and after a while solid-tbone asked me to join TEKHacks. I decided to quit TEK after months of inactivity, but later came back when we started planning for the anviersary and people started working again. 04-14-04 06:22 AM 31 10 4111

459. Destiny Smasher Somehow, it seems that about EVERYONE ELSE besides me on this board seems to THINK they know what kind of person I am...But they don't. And I don't blame them. We're all humans, afterall, and some of use try a little harder than others to be themselves.



Apparently, I don't 'blend in' good enough, and any time I try to provide criticism after it's been given to me first, I automatically am an idiot because people don't agree with me...Quite strange, no?



I also seem to have quite a bad habit of STRUGGLING to be nice to people, only to SOMEHOW get them angry at me...I don't quite understand it myself, but I think it has something to do with the fact that people, as a collective, are idiots, and they don't like to see someone like myself break down the walls to escape their mundane world.



Believe what you want of me- but you'll never know who I REALLY am until you meet me, which I doubt you will.



Anyway, I've come to the conclusion that although there are plenty of VERY AWESOME folks here, there's plenty more who want nothing more than to make my online life an adorable little hell. ^_^ Therefore, I doubt I'll come around here much anymore...Probably here and there.

  • No more stretching! Post area now scrolls left and right if necessary. (Still stretches vertically though, because vertical scrolling layouts r teh sux0r.) - removed, caused too many weird bugs.
  • Smaller title bar font, looks better in Linux.
  • Links now have an invisible border, so things don't move when you hover over them.
  • Custom list bullets.
  • Code sections now scroll instead of leaking and stretching and use Courier.
  • Shrunk links in link window so they don't wrap around as much.
  • Changed title bar layout.
  • Fixed title bar's close button.
  • More stats and smaller font in Debug window.

EXPLANATION OF THE MEW THING
The problem here was the grammar of the post. The person who posted the thread made it sound as if the pause menu would appear at a random point on the map, which is obviously false because there is nothing that would trigger it. NOT, as the correct explanation says, that it would appear when entering another map, which does make sense. Thank you, now STFU about it. -_-
